Ministry Description: 

5 Below is a discipleship group for parents/caregivers, and their accompanying children ages 5 and under. The group meets on Thursday mornings in the nursery from 9:30-11am. Participation in this group is based on a “drop-in” format, with no long term study or reading required of the attendants. Leadership will help facilitate a welcoming atmosphere where children can play and parents can connect. Leadership will also help coordinate small mini lessons where they can share parenting resources, model techniques for both parents and children, and facilitate related discussions.

Mission:

1) To equip parents of infants and toddlers (children 5 and under) in the establishment of Christ centered homes and to train them in developing skills for home discipleship.

2) To connect children to the church through play and the opportunity to form friendships with their young peers.

Vision:

1) To create a safe atmosphere for parents and caregivers to connect with the church body by developing friendships with one another, draw them into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, and to learn to reflect the nature and character of God through their parenting. 

2) To foster a place of belonging in our young children, so that they may be at home in the church body from birth.
